It is free and it is fun – we are sharing laughter to keep our spirits high and combat social exclusion.

The Laughter Club International in St Albans will be back laughing on the first Sunday every month as soon as possible, except August, and if we get it right we’ll keep laughing into the years to come at Wadley Hut on Watford Road.

Happy People

Laughing in a Laughter Club

We encourage everyone to visit The Laughter Club no matter what kind of weather we are facing, and with the new venue there really is no reason to stay away.

Since 2004 we have laughed with hundreds of people;

– lorry drivers – estate agents – social workers – airline staff – carers – entrepreneurs – housewives – therapists – NHS staff – radio presenters – financial advisers – IT professionals – managers – corporate teams – Big Brother participants – artists – pensioners – and many more

Laughter Clubs are highly beneficial for everyone irrespective of physical condition or background – laughing adds the extra spice to our lives.

At UnitedMind we use our best endeavours to ensure your health and safety.

However, we also request that each participant be responsible for their own well-being.

The Laughter Club is based on the principles first introduces by Dr. Madan Kataria in 1995. Please visit Dr. Kataria’s School of Laughter Yoga to read more about the Worldwide Laughter Movement. See Links for further information.

Following on from training with UnitedMind many people go on to start their own Laughter Clubs and UnitedMind constantly map new and regular Laughter Clubs around the UK.
