Empowering People and the Workplace
Everything we do in the workplace as managers, teamleaders and colleagues is about empowering people just as it is outside work.
However, too much allround stress does not always cater for supporting individuals and teams in their growth and sometimes conflicts build without even realising what is causing them until they are already full on.
Laughter Yoga is not just about laughing loudly all the time to deal with situations, Laughter Yoga is about developing emotional intelligence and resilience both inside and outside the workplace. We create awareness of this way of being which requires insight, listening skills, acknowledgement of emotions without letting them become overpowering, and being a true leader allowing people to take on the responsibility.
Through the training we empower people in their approach to any problem solving and conflict resolution as well as in their appreciation of everything they do. We encourage and develop emotional intelligence and self-esteem which grows from the daily practice and the change this practice brings about.
Absenteeism is said to cost the UK society in excess of £12.2 billion annually and implementing a Laughter Yoga Plan can potentially create less sick-days and higher levels of motivation in any workplace.

Laughter Yoga is non-religious, non-political and non-discriminating.

Improved Communication with Gibberish
I am sure Alan Titchmarsh thought it was all a lot of Gibberish when we presented Laughter Yoga on his afternoon show in November 2012…
We did a lot of laughing but you have to be willing to take part for it to have an effect and Laughter Professors cannot force anyone who is unwilling.
The same is true in terms of communication and in particular the part of this skill that concerns listening.
So. What is Gibberish?
Gibberish is a Universal language and known as the most primary and old language or the way of communication in the world. However, contrary to other languages, Gibberish does not make sense and has no meaning so we cannot plan our response or judge the spoken word. This is a really important aspect of Gibberish because it allows for it to be an extraordinary tool for dealing with anger and conflicts.
As a team tool Gibberish is second to none, disagreements dismantle and in their place creative ideas flow. A workplace is more productive and efficient if there exists a level of playfulness combined with the focus strong relationships create.
Work does not need to be hard work in order to produce results!

Laughter Yoga Training Programmes
Personal and professional development is the essence of any Laughter Yoga training programme from UnitedMind. Many people come to the training to start a new venture, a laughter club or bring the new skills to their workplace, but equally people train as Laughter Yoga Leader or Laughter Yoga Teachers because they want to enrich their lives, bring back the fun, the lighthearted laughter and joy.
It is worth considering!
