Waking up to June and joy.

A big welcome to the new Laughter Yoga Master Trainer in the UK. After only few years of working with Laughter Yoga and Dr Kataria Tové joins the master trainers around the world, aiming to develop programmes together with Laughter Yoga International.

It makes me think back to 10 years ago when I completed my master training. What a great privilege – and it had also been many years of building up my portfolio to comply with the then requirements of

  • having run a minimum 30 Laughter Yoga Leader Training courses
  • having inspired the commencement of a minimum of 100 laugher clubs
  • having run a minimum of 250 community sessions
  • and many more requirements that seem all a riff of the past

Things evolve and with the past years of altered world-views ideologies were bound to change.

The importance of change cannot be underestimated! It is the only constant in life.

There is no qualification to being human, we are humans and the practice of Laughter Yoga is a step closer to being the human we were always meant to be.
 

Gratitude and grace has taught me the greatness of appreciation of the
fine details in the spinning wheel of time we are all bound to.

Honouring all choices as they are our individual steps on our own path which intrinsically intertwine with other souls as we live our lives the best we are meant to do, being the best humans we were meant to be.

Our intuition will guide our steps and we will make the decisions to follow it or to stay safe. In extraordinary living there is risk and the risk is often our intuition speaking.

“To love is to risk not being loved in return, To live is to risk dying, To hope is to risk despair, To try is to risk failure. But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.”

Follow your heart and intuition and know that risk is part of your journey!

Co-operation and Co-creation

Working together to create a life-style of choice based on our naturally playful nature has been my focus for many years when working with corporations and organisations as well as we Laughter Yoga Leaders and Laughter Yoga Teacher who have trained with me and others over the past 20 years.
 
There is so much opportunity for positive change lurking in every corner of our world, waiting for us all to step out and make the change happen.
 
Everyone of us brings our individual skills and talents, wisdom and knowledge to the grand table of workplace and life challenges such as stress management, team bonding, empowered communication, powerful presentation, confidence and self-worth.
 
If we did not embrace co-operation and co-creation before 2020 then the two years have definitely taught us that it is better to work together than to be isolated from the world.

Second to None Benefits Part 5

When you begin to practice Laughter Yoga it is a routine you add to your daily doings and I think it is unclear exactly what the extent of the benefits are at that time.
 
It takes time.
 
Although the benefits from one session are tremendous, it is the daily practice that impacts life long-term.
 
Not only does your physical health change but your state of mind is altered by the new neuropathways that are paving the way through your mind and through patterns.
 
Your language change as your thoughts start creating your world around you.
 
I started talking in positive terms about anything and everything. A few people had enough of me because I was too jolly.
 
You cannot change who you become when you laugh every day but your circle of people will inevitably change as you attract your own vibration and disconnect from vibrations that no longer resonate with your energy.
 
How is this a benefit?
 
In this life we have lessons to learn and live through, people enter our lives for reasons we may not yet comprehend when they arrive, and some will stay for longer than others, some will stay short time and others will stay lifetimes with us.
 
They, too, connect with us for their life lessons and when we are all ready we move on or we stay strong together.
 
The essence is that we benefit from gathering life lessons and growing in grace and gratitude throughout our presence here. Laughter Yoga teaches us the values of compassionate and graceful living.
 
Our thoughts become things and attract likes, is what is said, so the importance of the mindset-change that happens so seemlessly through having a Laughter Yoga practice is worth a lifetime.

There really are many more benefits to laughing and I may continue to share them with their little stories and anekdotes as we move further into summer, then autumn and winter, and spring once again.

I hope you will continue to enjoy reading about the benefits of practicing Laughter Yoga, and even consider learning the technique for yourself or your group of people in your community or workplace so you, too, can make positive, live-able change count.

The Laughter Club International (UK) on Zoom

The Laughter Club in St Albans is sharing laughter on Zoom on 1st Sunday every month (except August) at 1pm-1:30pm!
