The Laughter Club International (UK)
The Laughter Club International in St. Albans was launched on 13th June 2004 and has run since then typically on the second Sunday every month (with only few exceptions - please check Dates).
In May we celebrate World Laughter Day on first Sunday in St. Albans as well as around the world.
From May to August we ALSO laugh in the Bushey Rose Garden on the 3rd Monday of the month.
Winter and wet weather keeps people indoor which is the reason The Laughter Club runs indoor from September to April and in Verulamium Park from May to July. Venues are listed below.
The Rose Garden Laughter Club launched in May 2011 in the Bushey Rose Garden just off Bushey High Street. The Rose Garden Laughter Club is a summer laughterclub and laughs from May to August. Please see below.
UnitedMind will be launching the North-East Coast Laughter Club in Peterlee in early 2012 - full details to follow shortly!
Laughter Club fee: £5 per month or £50 annually - now available to book online.
Registration: Booking is essential. Please confirm your place prior to the Laughter Club laugh.
We encourage everyone to visit The Laughter Club no matter what kind of weather we are facing, and with the new venue there really is no reason to stay away.
Since 2004 we have laughed with hundreds of people;
- lorry drivers - estate agents - social workers - airline staff - carers - entrepreneurs - housewives - therapists - NHS staff - radio presenters - financial advisers - Big Brother participants - artists - pensioners - and many more
We meet on the first or second Sunday of every months (please see below or see the Dates page) and laugh from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
Laughter Clubs are highly beneficial for everyone irrespective of physical condition or background - laughing adds the extra spice to our lives. At UnitedMind we use our best endeavours to ensure your health and safety. However, we also request that each participant be responsible for their own well-being.

Following on from training with UnitedMind many people go on to start their own Laughter Clubs and UnitedMind are in the process of mapping the regular Laughter Club around the UK.
